My name is Jami Sibley – welcome to my blog. I live in Southern California with my Rocket Scientist husband and our 3 wonderful birds: Beaker (Red Fronted Macaw), R.B. (Green Wing Macaw) and Parsley (Lovebird). I have been crafting my whole life and stamping for almost 10 years. I am a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and love sharing the joy of stamping with others!

I just found your blog and signed up for your updates. I have been stamping since 2004… became a SU demo in 05, but just as a crafter… I really have not sold a lot, except to me LOL. I have loved crafting all my life, sewing, soft boxes etc. but when I starting stamping I just couldn’t stop. 🙂 I read that you have parrots. We do too. We have a red lored amazon, Rozie, and an african grey, Sam. Both are over 10 years old. We got Sam when he was just 3 months old, and Rozie when she was about 3 years old.
I really enjoy reading your blog and checking out your style. Thanks for adding me!

Hi Jami,
I love the first two Christmas cards that you made with the Take Three set and Dashing DP. Would you be willing to share what size the DP is on those two cards? I would like to make them up for Christmas and I really don’t want to mess up my DP while guessing what size I need.
Thanks,
Jenny

Dear Jamie,
Nancy passed along the info for your blog. I love to make cards too and have my international friends and grandma friends over each month to make cards and share ideas. It was fun to see your gallery of cards. Wow! It helps me with ideas. Thanks.

Hi Jami,
I LOVE your cute little purse card and was wondering if there was a pattern or template. I’m a bit new to the card making world and when I saw your website and creations on Splitcoaststampers I was an immediate fan.
I would love to make this cute purse!
Thanks and blessings,
Rita

Hi Jami,
I’m Joy’s friend from OC and met you last year at the stamping event. This is a non-stamping related question… My kids and I are into birding and since you mention all of your birds just curious if you’re related to David Sibley? I also have lots of questions about your birds…so when you have a chance, would love to chat: [email protected]
Thanks!

We have three birds too – a parrotlet and two parakeets. I’ve always wanted a larger bird, but alas, we live in a condo, so we need to have little birds with little lungs.
Petey, our parrotlet, however, “thinks” he is a big parrot and has the spunk and attitude to go with it, so we really enjoy how interactive he is. He’s our real darling!
Do you find you have enough time to divy up between the three birds? Are any of them more interactive with you than the others? Or do they all vy for Momma Bird and Daddy Bird’s time?
The Eskimo puppies were pretty darn adorable! Would he & the birds get along?

Jaime,
Love your blog and your creativity! Stumbled upon you cause I was searching for a listing of Copic Marker color chart that matches to SU cardstock — and poof… there you were. I love your chart and was just writing you a quick note to see if you plan to add to it once the new colors are finally released. I’d love to have a complete list of copic matches for all the SU colors and just wanted you to know I think you did a wonderful job with that chart!
I’ve become a subscriber to your blog and look forward to seeing more of your work!

I stumbled upon your blog while looking at card pictures that google pulled up. I chose yours to look at, as it seemed you had more artistic talent than some! I’ve enjoyed looking at a few of your blogs/cards, and have learned a bit more, already! As to the rocket scientist part, I taught Sumner Stewart Loomis’ grand-daughter. We met a few times, and I got to hear about his inventions from her. This was when he was retired already. Isn’t it amazing how the mind can be so creative, but not always do just what we want it to!!!He invented the seeing eye for our shopping doors, but of course someone else got the credit. He’s a shy man. Thanks for the chat…Michelle

Hi Jami,
You have a very interesting site. My wife is totally into arts and crafts, and she makes anything from just about nothing. I’m writing you because my partners and I are creating a new ‘web-based’ company soon to launch, and wanted to get your creative feedback when we launch the beta site. Can I keep in touch with you? If so, please email me at the address I gave you.
Thanks!

I just joined SCS. I am overwhelmed by the web site. I have to admit that I am not very good with computer stuff. I just joined Stampin up in October so am new there too. I have been stamping for about 25 years. My sister and I got into it right after Stampin Up got started. Love it. I appreciate what you wrote about helping the newbies. Thats me. Thanks
