I’m excited to play along today and I have 2 samples to share with you.  First I have a card featuring A Day in Paradise.  This is a beautiful “Cape Cod” style beach set that includes both some open line images as well as solid silhouette images. This set was illustrated by Nancy McKinney as part of the Whimsical Wishes collection.  It’s going to give you lots of options for Summer cards and scrapbook pages, as well as retirement wishes and some great masculine cards.  I made this card to be a Father’s Day card.

Finished card size is 6.5 x 3.25 (a 6.5 square folded in half) – a mini tall card.  The boat was stamped with Not Quite Navy ink on confetti white cardstock and die cut with a Spellbinder oval.  The pelicans were stamped directly on the designer paper.  Papers are from MME Stella & Rose Hattie 6×6 pad as well as the Webster’s Pages Spring Market-Yacht Club-Country Estate 6×6 Petite Pack.  I think both of these paper collections are great choices for all the stamps and dies we are previewing today.

My next card features The new Surf’s Up Penguin Petite along with the palm tree from Hangin’ Out at the Beach and….are you ready?….the brand new coordinating Palm Tree Taylored Die!!!!  I have been begging for this palm tree die ever since Taylor released that stamp set last year.  I love love love that image, but I am not fond of cutting it out by hand.  I cannot even tell you how excited I was when Taylor told me she had the die in production.  *huge grin*  I know you are going to love it too!

Isn’t that little surfer dude so cute?   He’s standing on Brown Sugar Sparkly Fluff “sand” and he was die cut with Wonky Rectangles.  The sentiment was die cut with a Ribbon Tag Trio die.  Paper is from the same MME pad as above and I added Kaisercraft rhinestones and SU Crumb Cake seam binding.  The corners were rounded with my trusty Corner Chomper.  The palm tree is up on small foam squares.

So, what do you think?  Cute stuff coming on Friday, huh? There are 2 more Petite sets and another die that I didn’t show.  Let’s check out what the Baker’s Dozen has cooked up today.

    31. fat loss factor book Says:

      Hi!
I read some of the postings on this forum (and several other places on the internet) before I invested in this diet plan. At first I thought it was a scam as I got nothing back. I contacted the customer services on the address given in the receipt e-mail and within 24 hours they replied and I was into the program. My fault for not pushing the right button when I bought the plan.
My weight has crept up to exactly 24 stone and I am having blood pressure problems and feeling very out of breath. I work shifts on the railway and sit in an office chair for very long periods of time. The trigger was when I sat back on my chair and one of the legs sheared off. After much ridicule from my colleagues, it was time to take drastic action!
I have followed my first plan to the letter for 10 days now and just got weighed (no access to scales tomorrow morning after 11 days). 22 stone 12 pounds! Not bad 16 pounds lost in 10 days! I have not done any more exercise than usual, but I suspect I will have to start swimming and walking soon if the weight loss is to continue.
The most difficult day by far was day 2, when you get only fruit and one sandwich. I was starving, but got through it OK! As for alcohol, I have had one glass of red wine every night (as allowed in the plan) and no beer.
My only comment would be that perhaps the food lists could be a bit longer and offer some more foods available in the UK. I too have been unable to find frozen yoghurt and apricots are out of season. I like fish, but it is not easy to find the types listed on the diet plan here in the UK. Things like salmon, mackerel, haddock, cod and plaice are much easier to find but am I allowed to substitute?
Looking forward to 3 days off this weekend and I will NOT be pigging out! Will still enjoy some beer and a good curry though!
I will post again after my second plan, but I can only say that it really is worth following the diet to the letter as it works better than anything else I have ever tried.
And no I do not have any links with the company at all. I am just an overweight railwayman here in the UK (or Fat Controller as my sons like to call me from their Thomas cartoons!).
      Jocky.
