CAS – me? Really?

June 8th, 2010

Happy Tuesday!  Just a quick post before I head out to the office.  The card I have to share with you today is a result of pure play…and those are always my favorites.  🙂  Y’all know that I am not a *clean and simple* (CAS) stamper…not because I don’t like or appreciate CAS cards, but rather because I just don’t usually have the knack for them.  That being said – let me tell you – I am absolutely tickled pink with this card!!!  I hope you like it too.

It’s a 5.25″ square white card base with a Spellbinders Labels Nine embossed into the center.  Flowers are from Taylor’s Garden Party Blooms set.  The blossoms were stamped a 2nd time on scrap cs and cut and popped up on foam tape.  I added some Diamond and yellow stickles to them and some kaiserCraft pearls on either side of the sentiment.  Ribbon is long retired Wild Wasabi from SU. Ink colors are Wild Wasabi, Garden Green, So Saffron, Regal Rose, Rose Red.  The card looks a little brighter IRL…I really should learn more about photo editing!

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!

WOW! what a great card-CAS is so fun once you get over the shock, you can do them a lot more quickly usually and the results are always nice (and to think you usually use LESS product too!)
