Happy Birthday Sweetheart!

Today is my husband Curt’s birthday. And where am I? I’m in Portland Oregon attending the Stampin’ Up! Regional Seminar with a bunch of my SCS buddies. I’ve set this entry to auto-post.
When the idea of this trip first arose I wasn’t too sure about being gone on Curt’s birthday, but he assured me over and over again that it would be fine. He’ll be joining me up here tomorrow and we have reservations for a wonderful dinner on Sunday night. He’s a keeper that’s for sure! (I love you Honey!)
Card details:
Card base is Not Quite Navy cardstock layered with Real Red and SU Dashing designer paper. I thought these candy stripes would lend themselves to the old-fashioned look I was going for with the car and the fonts from Block Party. I got the car stamp a long time ago (source forgotten) since Curt is an antique car enthusiast. It was stamped in NQN ink on vanilla cardstock, punched with a Marvy oval punch and then covered Versamark and heat embossed with clear powder. That was layered onto a red punched oval and adhered with foam tape for dimension. Some photo corners, hardware and just a touch of ribbon are the finishing touches.

LOVE this card Jami. It really jumped out at me! Great color combo. And how sweet that CURT comments on your blag. That just made me smile! Can’t wait to hear all about Portland when you get back and see all the cool stuff you made. REALLY hope you get to see RUTH. Hugs!
