Black Tuesday

Today is the last day of Challenges in the SCS Dare to Get Dirty celebration and I get to host another one! The Dirty Dare Gallery will continue to accept uploads through August 22nd and the forum will be open for chatter through August 15th. After those dates the gallery and forums will be available for viewing only. So….you still have PLENTY of time to play! And my challenge today is super easy….Fall Back on Black!
Here’s my sample:
This Garden Whimsy set is so much fun! For this card I stamped on glossy white cardstock with Bashful Blue and Celery classic ink to coordinate with the Cutie Pie Designer Paper. Butterflies were then outlined with a Sakura Black Glaze pen (yes – the same one that gave me so much trouble on my boat card!) and highlighted with a little stickles. It’s really a very simple card and I think the black really gives it a bit of POP!

Wow, Jami! You made this look like a whole other set! How fabulous! I haven’t seen this piece of Cutie Pie yet, either. This is so cute!

This is awesome!! A Black Glaze Pen?! I didn’t know there was one!! Must have! How come I can’t create like you 🙁 {head hanging low and kicking rocks} LOL

Beautiful! Great challenge too! I am loving this card! The colors are so pretty together and the black certainly makes everything so crisp and pop right out!
